What is new in version 2 |

The updated program reflects current market expectations and incorporates feedback from partners, markets and assessed companies. The revised requirements support the identification of effective solutions tailored to the type, nature and activities of each business. Guidance has also been integrated into the protocol to facilitate understanding and implementation of the requirements. Version 2 complies with the latest regulations, the current Codex Alimentarius, IFS Logistics 3 and IFS Progress Food 3. The scoring system has been aligned with IFS Progress Food 3, and the optimised assessment protocol, clearer rules and new attributes contribute to greater consistency and applicability. |

Among the most relevant changes are 13 new requirements, a restructured checklist with five chapters, new logistics processing services, updated rules for corrections and corrective actions, and the introduction of follow-up assessments, extension assessments and voluntary unannounced assessments. |
